Latino-rocker/crooner PEP TORRES, from Hollywood, CA, plays his own blend of 50’s style rock & roll, rockabilly, doo-wop, and rhythm and blues.

Originally born and raised in Santa Barbara, California, Pep started singing when he was 15 and by the age of 17 was strumming guitar along with his rockabilly
records and he hasn't stopped since! Fronting his own band, PEP TORRES with four releases on the Hollywood Vintage Records label (USA): “Rockabilidad” (2000),
“You and I” (2002), “It Ain’t Rocket Science”( 2004), and “Luck is on My Side”(2006). The last two were also released on the Rhythm Bomb Records, LTD. label (London).
They have also released his fifth album "Muchacho Zafado" (2008). His music is prominent within the roots music genre sub-culture in the United States as well as in Latin
America and in Europe where he has been called by some "the new Ritchie Valens" and “the King of Latin Rock and Roll”.

Touring on a regular basis away from his native California since 2002, his travels have taken him from Spain to Italy, to Germany, the Netherlands, to Portugal, Switzerland and to Ireland. The Nordic regions have also
enjoyed Torres’ performances by way of Norway, Sweden and Finland. Most of these with repeat performances in various events, venues and international festivals. On his own continent, Pep has toured regularly and
repeatedly in Mexico and Canada.
