Daniel De Vita is a 29-year-old guitarist and singer born in Buenos Aires who has been playing in the Argentine Blues scene for the past 10 years. He has participated in the main Latin American Blues festivals such as the Buenos Aires Winter Festival, the Buenos Aires Blues Festival, llha Blues Festival (Sao Paulo, Brazil), as well as the Mississippi Delta Blues Festival (Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil ), the latter being the most important Blues festival in South America. He is also part of the band « South American Kings of the Blues »

In 2015 he recorded his first solo work. The album is called « Southside Blues » and is a tribute to great masters such as Muddy Waters, Little Walter, Memphis Slim, John Brim and many other Bluesmen. The album has been released in Latin America independently and in Europe by the Catty Town Records label. Daniel is a Blues fan and a recording engineer who used the same methods that the Chess Record Company did during the 50s to recreate a true sound. In addition, « Southside Blues » received great reviews from publications such as Blues Junction.com, Blues Blast Magazine, The Alternate Roots, and many more praising Daniel De Vita for his debut album.

Daniel recently returned from his European tour which was held between the months of April and July 2017, along 31 shows he toured cities such as Barcelona, Madrid, Toulouse, Rennes, Nantes, Milan, Vienna and Prague among other locations. Also during the tour he had the privilege of playing for 3 days at the « Blues Baltica 2017 » festival. Apart from that, he was also invited to the second edition of the « Festival de Blues de Valencia ». Another participation in European Blues festivals took place in Belgium where Daniel gave a show at the « Gaverland Blues Festival ». The reception of the shows was more than encouraging, both in the full band format and also in the concerts where the repertoire was played only with his guitar and singing.

In November 2017 his second album was released under the Blue Crawfish label, the album is called « Third World Guitars » and it is a collaborative work with guitarists Netto Rockfeller (Brazil) and José Carrasco (Chile). The album takes the initiative to unify the 3 most important Blues scenes in Latin America through the recording of an album that brings together traditional Blues classics, Soul of the 70s and without any stylistic prejudice swinging versions of songs by The Clash and even venturing into musical genres such as Ska. Third Word Guitars plans a release tour of the project during the month of January that will take them through Chile, Brazil and Argentina.
